Meet the IASC Staff – Innis Arden Swim Club

Jeremy Hunter, Head Swim Coach

Jeremy Hunter is our head swim coach and has been since 2009. Throughout his many summers at the pool he has created countless memories for our youth swimmers. His ability to blend fun, build community, encourage, and teach swimming has caused our program to continue to grow and become the staple of all those in our neighborhood. Jeremy is a teacher and head swim coach at Shorewood High School.

Mira Ho, Head Water Polo Coach

Mira has been Innis Arden’s head water polo coach since 2019. Mira aims to spread the word on this amazing sport and create competitive teams for all ages, while also encouraging development and sportsmanship. She comes to the pool every day with a contagious excitement for water polo, which is clearly seen through her players and fellow coaches here at Innis Arden. Mira is also the head coach for the Shorewood water polo teams. After playing for four years at UW, she went on to be the UW head coach and coach several high school and club teams before joining IASC.

Jeff McDowell, General Manager

Jeff McDowell is the General Manager here at Innis Arden. Jeff has been a part of the local community for many years as a teacher and pool manager. He recently retired from teaching for the Shoreline School District this past June. After 36 years of teaching at Syre Elementary and Einstein Middle School he has many great connections to the youth and families of our area. He enjoys spending time with his family and playing tennis on the weekends.
